Working With VideoPro
Filming on the ground is autonomous. You will often work independently while still being part of a bigger team. Everyone has their own tasks, but we all share the same goal of capturing great stories and representing VideoPro Africa with professionalism.
1
Filming can be demanding, so make sure you eat well, stay hydrated and rest when possible. A clear mind and steady energy always reflect in your work. Keep some snacks or water with you, especially during long or outdoor shoots.

2
Before leaving for location, inspect all your equipment including cameras, lenses, batteries, memory cards, lights and cables. Confirm that everything works and is packed. Report any missing or faulty gear early so it can be replaced or repaired before filming starts.
3
Stick to the agreed deliverables from the call sheet and contract, but feel free to capture extra shots, reactions or interesting moments that could improve the story. We value creativity as long as the main objectives are achieved.

4
Filming is a team effort. Support your teammates, offer a hand when needed and communicate clearly throughout the day. Check in with others to make sure everyone is safe, comfortable and focused.
5
Always record behind the scenes content. This helps us build trust with our clients and promotes your talent to the world. BTS footage is proof of your participation and professionalism on every project.
